Green Riders is a company which is disrupting and revolutionizing the last-mile delivery space for fast food and small goods in South Africa. Currently, this is an industry in which delivery drivers are largely marginalised, voiceless and earning minimum wage. Green Riders is turning it into a market in which riders can earn a much better income, become micro-entrepreneurs who own their assets, and have the opportunity to continue their own business development in a sustainable way. Green Riders has recognized this current market problems and has introduced a fleet of e-bicycles (e-bikes) to the South African market which are environmentally-friendly (green), cost-effective (much cheaper to operate than ICE vehicles) and far better received by South African youths. There is a huge demand for delivery drivers. Green Riders aims to create thousands of jobs in the last-mile delivery sector over the next few years.

About Green Riders

Green Riders Youth Development is a transformative South African initiative focused on delivering environmentally friendly, last-mile logistics solutions. Committed to creating a sustainable impact, Green Riders aims to generate 50,000 jobs over five years by training underprivileged youth to become professional delivery riders.
