At Patriot Guide Service

Patriot Fishing Guide Service offers guided saltwater fishing trips departing from Port O’Connor, Texas. Led by Capt. Derick Kuyrkendall, the service draws on his 47 years of saltwater fishing experience to help guests find productive fishing spots and enjoy a memorable day on the water. Trips target species including Trout, Redfish, Sheepshead, Shark, Tarpon, Kingfish, and Cobia, among others.

Guests can choose a four-hour half-day Jetty trip, available in the morning or afternoon, or an eight- to ten-hour full-day Offshore and Jetty trip. Full-day outings depend on suitable weather and wind conditions. No fishing experience is required, and the service provides rods, reels, tackle, bottled water, and ice.

Trips take place aboard a Pathfinder 2700 OPEN, a 27-foot bay boat equipped with U.S. Coast Guard safety gear, spacious casting decks, walk-around gunwales, and tournament-grade livewells. Patriot aims to provide a comfortable, well-equipped fishing experience, whether guests hope to bring fish home for the table or pursue a catch of a lifetime.
