Paul Harder Bronze Works is the studio of Canadian artist Paul Harder, based in North Saanich, British Columbia. Drawing on a long career as a biologist and a deep appreciation of wilderness, Harder creates bronze sculptures inspired by wildlife, animals, marine life and exotic creatures. His work reflects observations of the natural world, including local diving experiences and encounters with marine animals.
The studio’s galleries feature a broad range of subjects, including bears, birds, cougars, dogs, fish, octopuses, otters, reptiles, sharks, turtles, tortoises and wolves, as well as figurative sculptures and tables. Featured works include Arabian Foal, modelled from a friend’s champion Arabian stock; Climbing Octopus, inspired by Harder’s diving and observations at the Vancouver Aquarium; and Crouching Octopus, commissioned by WildAid. Selected sculptures are produced in limited editions.
Paul Harder Bronze Works also accepts custom commissions and special orders. Visitors can explore the sculpture galleries, learn about the artist, follow studio news and contact the studio directly for enquiries.
