About PawBack
PawBack is a Düsseldorf-based pet safety brand creating smart identification tags designed to help lost pets get home. Founded by Fazy and Milad for their dog Bennie, the business makes its tags in-house using 3D printing and ships them from Düsseldorf. Each lightweight, 28 mm tag combines a QR code and NFC chip, allowing anyone with a smartphone to open the pet’s profile in a browser—no app or finder account required.
Owners can add a photo, name, breed and medical notes, while their personal contact details remain hidden; scan alerts are sent by email. PawBack tags cost €9. 99 for a single tag, with multi-tag, replacement and optional name-engraving options also available.
The included profile can be updated for the life of the service, with no required subscription. Optional Premium membership adds a private phone line, lost-pet alerts to PawBack users in the owner’s postcode, and shipping benefits. PawBack also offers practical guides on finding lost dogs, privacy and comparing ID tags with GPS trackers
