Paws for Compassion is a non-profit, volunteer-based animal rescue network established by Dom and Lexie in 2015. Working in Đà Nẵng and across central Việt Nam, the organisation aims to improve the welfare of companion animals through rescue, rehabilitation and community education. Its cat and dog shelters provide animals with a safe place to recover, including pets rescued from the meat trade, until they are ready for adoption. People can adopt cats and dogs, including animals with special needs, or support individual rescues through sponsorship and donations.

Beyond shelter care, Paws for Compassion works with the animal healthcare industry to address overpopulation and improve animal health. Its projects include sterilisation, vaccination and efforts to improve veterinary care, alongside community outreach. The organisation also provides animal-welfare information and educational resources, including programmes for Vietnamese children, and works to raise awareness of the cat and dog meat trade. Supporters can contribute through donations, wishlists, volunteering, partnerships and events.
