About Paxa Dola
Paxa Dola is a Franciscan sisters’ community and hospitality project in Potoci, near Mostar, bringing together spirituality, local tradition and sustainable agriculture. At its heart is a 14-hectare olive grove with around 3,800 trees and five olive varieties. The sisters produce Paxa extra-virgin olive oil, which has received professional recognition, and offer other goods through the Paxa House online shop, including locally made foods, wooden crafts and gift sets.
Visitors can join guided olive-grove walks, explore a gallery and historic monastery complex, and taste olive oil at the Paxa House tasting room. Seasonal Olive Harvest Experience programs invite guests to take part in the harvest and enjoy a change of pace. The site also offers spiritual programs, retreats and the Jeka Tišine house for prayer and reflection, along with holiday cottages and the Garden of St. Francis.
Through its “Become a Guardian of an Olive Tree” initiative, Paxa Dola also supports meals for pupils at St. Clare Primary School in Uganda through donations.
