Pax Finis

Pax Finis provides compassionate, non-medical support for people approaching the end of life, their loved ones, and those coping with bereavement. Its name means “peace at the end” and reflects the brand’s aim to bring calm, dignity, and reassurance to a sensitive stage of life. The service is led by Annette Ristimäki, a certified death doula and lawyer with experience in family and inheritance law. She combines legal knowledge with attentive emotional and practical support, complementing rather than replacing palliative care.

Pax Finis offers supportive conversations about death, life’s final chapter, grief, and existential concerns, as well as guidance for relatives supporting someone who is dying. Clients can also receive help planning a funeral, considering practical and legal matters, and expressing wishes for farewells. For those who prefer not to talk, a written “silent guidance” service provides personal responses to questions submitted in writing. Support is tailored to each person’s needs and may include listening, preparation, structure, and a calm presence.
