Paxton Wines is a family-owned winery established in 1979, based at Landcross Farm in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The winery sources all its wine fruit from its estate vineyards and has been certified organic and biodynamic since 2011. Its approach to viticulture uses natural preparations and composts to support healthy soils and vines, with the aim of producing expressive fruit and distinctive wines.
Paxton offers a range of wines, including Shiraz and Shiraz Cabernet, available through its online shop and wine club. Visitors can enjoy tastings at the relaxed cellar door, where they can learn about the winery’s organic and biodynamic philosophy, create a regional platter and take in the vineyard views. Experiences also include biodynamic tours and tastings, alongside weddings, functions and seasonal events.
Open daily, Paxton’s Landcross Farm venue features TillyBelle’s Bar and hosts food, wine and entertainment offerings, including weekend pizza and special dinners. The winery welcomes guests to explore its wines and connect with the land and practices behind them.
