About Payment Card Settlement
Payment Card Settlement is the official court-authorized website for the Payment Card Interchange Fee Settlement. The settlement arose from claims that merchants paid excessive fees to accept Visa and Mastercard cards due to antitrust law violations by Visa, Mastercard, and their member banks. The settlement has created a Rule 23(b)(3) Settlement Class, which includes individuals, businesses, and entities that accepted Visa-Branded Cards and/or Mastercard-Branded Cards in the United States between January 1, 2004, and January 25, 2019, excluding certain parties.
The settlement has received final approval from the district court, and after passing the Court of Appeals, the parties are now preparing for the claims process. For more information on the settlement, including important dates and documents, please visit our website. Stay tuned for further updates
