PayPal Giving Fund is an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) public charity that helps charities benefit from online donations. Through partnerships with platforms including PayPal, Facebook, Instagram, GoFundMe, eBay, Humble Bundle, and Twitch, it helps organizations reach potential supporters where they already give, shop, or create fundraisers. Charities can enroll, update their profiles with a logo and description, and become more visible across participating platforms.

When donors contribute, PayPal Giving Fund securely processes eligible donations and automatically provides donor receipts. Funds are granted monthly to a charity’s PayPal Business account, while reporting tools let organizations review historical payouts, pending funds, and shared donor details. The service is designed to reduce administrative work so charities can spend more time on their causes.

PayPal Giving Fund also enables people to search thousands of charities and donate, and invites businesses to become partners so customers can support charitable organizations through websites or apps. Since 2018, the organization reports raising $4 billion globally to benefit charities.
