About PAYZ
The Payments Association of Zambia (PAYZ) is Zambia's leading payment systems association, dedicated to driving growth and innovation in the country's financial sector. Established in 2018 and officially registered in 2019, PAYZ is recognized under the Societies Act of Zambia CAP 119. PAYZ serves as a collaborative platform for industry stakeholders, including the Bank of Zambia, Financial Sector Deepening Zambia (FSDZ), mobile money operators, and non-bank payment service providers.
Together, they tackle key areas of interest such as payment systems policy formulation, innovation, and public-private dialogues. With a clear purpose of representing its members and supporting the economic development of Zambia, PAYZ is committed to managing and contributing to the development of the National Payments System.
