PaznehtyBruntál

Paznehtářství Bruntál is a family-run cattle hoof-care service operated by Matěj Jurovic, serving farms across Bruntál and the surrounding area. With more than twenty years of family experience, the business provides functional hoof trimming for both beef and dairy cattle, helping farmers prevent lameness and support herd health and animal welfare.

The mobile service visits farms and pastures using a modern Czech-made hydraulic crush designed for quick, considerate restraint. An onboard generator enables work at locations without an electricity supply. During each visit, hooves are cleaned and assessed, then functionally trimmed to encourage balanced weight-bearing. The team also treats identified problems, applying blocks or bandages when needed, and consults veterinary professionals on more serious cases.

Regular trimming can help detect hoof conditions early and reduce the risk of pain, illness, and lost productivity. The service recommends trimming dairy cattle two or three times a year and beef cattle typically once or twice, depending on farm conditions. Each appointment is arranged directly with the provider.
