About PBLWorks
PBLWorks is an organization dedicated to helping educators make high-quality Project Based Learning (PBL) accessible and effective for all students. It builds the capacity of teachers, coaches, school leaders, and districts to design and facilitate engaging projects that support deeper learning, content understanding, and student success. Its approach is guided by Gold Standard PBL, including principles for project design, teaching practices, and educational equity.
PBLWorks offers professional learning through online and in-person workshops, courses, coaching, and multi-year district transformation support. Its PBLWorks TEACH service provides ready-to-use, standards-aligned K–12 project units with embedded professional learning, while myPBLWorks is an online platform for workshops and courses. Educators can also access regional PBL Institutes, the PBL World convening, and a library of more than 100 standards-based project ideas, along with free teaching tools, webinars, research, and practical resources. Through this combination of curriculum, training, and implementation support, PBLWorks helps schools and districts bring consistent, high-quality PBL to classrooms.
