PDE is an Italian publishing services company within the Feltrinelli Group, supporting publishers and the wider book trade through promotion, distribution-related services, and digital printing. Its work connects publishers with booksellers and readers, helping titles reach the market through a network of agents and tailored services for publishers and bookshops. PDE also provides editorial promotion, presenting new releases and publisher catalogues through its website, news, interviews, events, and campaigns.

Its featured titles span literature, art, photography, cooking, science, and other subjects, reflecting the range of publishers represented on the platform. The site highlights promotional initiatives, including time-limited discounts on participating publishers’ catalogues, and shares cultural news such as literary awards, festivals, and film adaptations of books. For publishers, PDE offers services and a dedicated access area; booksellers can also use a reserved section.

The company additionally promotes digital printing as an option for publishers facing growing title lists, smaller print runs, and increased demand for reprints
