The Professional Development Foundation (PDF) is a nonprofit organization founded in November 1998 by prominent figures in Egypt's private sector. Their mission is to transform the country's business culture and align it with international standards of excellence and achievement. PDF aims to support Egypt's strategy for sustainable economic growth by creating a skilled and tech-oriented workforce capable of competing in the global market.

PDF offers a wide range of programs and services targeting human resources at all corporate levels. Their Youth Academy, Center for Executive Excellence, and Communication & Information Technology Academy provide comprehensive training and development programs for executives, middle management, junior executives, and recent graduates. They also have a Civil Society Support Centre (CSSC) that focuses on capacity building for NGOs.

Through partnerships with various organizations, PDF offers scholarship opportunities such as the Microsoft, Oracle, and Alcatel scholarships.
