PDX Black Excellence is a community organization and cultural movement dedicated to connecting and supporting Portland's black residents and advocates. With the belief that diversity is the key to fostering innovation, collaboration, and opportunity, they strive to create a unique experience in Portland through select services and curated events. From executives to artists, students to entrepreneurs, everyone is welcome.

Being black in Portland can sometimes feel isolating, but PDX Black Excellence aims to change that. They want black Portlanders to fully see one another and shine even brighter by providing a spotlight on their resources and supporters. Through their efforts, they hope to foster social and professional networking, forge new relationships, and deepen understanding within the community.

Led by a team of passionate individuals, including founders Ralen Jones and Kayla Washington, creative director Jarren Simmons, and digital director Ashley Wu, PDX Black Excellence is committed to making a positive impact.
