Old Timers Baseball Association of Portland

The Old Timers Baseball Association of Portland is an active, multigenerational organization serving Oregon’s amateur baseball community. Founded in 1933, it has a long-standing commitment to supporting the game through mentoring, creating opportunities, awarding scholarships, and providing equipment. Its work is centered on helping young and amateur players participate and develop, while bringing together baseball supporters across age groups.

The association offers youth grants and scholarships, and provides baseball equipment and mentoring. Its activities also include clinics, fundraisers, an annual banquet, and a golf tournament, giving members and supporters ways to connect and contribute. The organization shares updates through its Around the Horn newsletter and blog, and invites community members to follow its social media, subscribe to its mailing list, or donate. A youth grant application is available through its website, which also introduces the association’s board and explains its programs. Through these services and events, the Old Timers Baseball Association of Portland continues its role in encouraging and supporting amateur baseball in Oregon.
