Peace by Chocolate is a brand that has been creating and shipping specialty treats for nearly 30 years, delivering deliciousness all over the Middle East and Europe. However, in 2012, the original Hadhad family chocolate factory in Damascus, Syria was tragically destroyed in a bombing, forcing the family to leave everything behind and become refugees in Lebanon. After three years of living as refugees with little hope, their dreams came true when they were invited to Canada.
With the support of the community in Antigonish and the people of Nova Scotia, the Hadhad family has rebuilt their chocolate company. Since the founding of Peace by Chocolate in 2016, they have been able to share their passion for chocolate with new friends in their community, as well as people across the province of Nova Scotia and around the world. The desire for excellence is evident in every piece of chocolate Peace by Chocolate produces.
Each sweet is created with a blend of Syrian fillings and ingredients, including nuts, fruit, and spices, resulting in a little taste of heaven in every bite. The chocolates are not only delicious but also exude sophistication, style, and excellence, making each one a little work of art in itself. Furthermore, Peace by Chocolate donates a percentage of all company profits to the Peace On Earth Society, an organization registered in Nova Scotia that supports peace-building projects globally.
