Peace for Dogs

Peace for Dogs is a nonprofit animal-welfare association based in Bad Grönenbach, Germany, dedicated to improving conditions for stray dogs in Bosnia. Founded by people with experience in animal protection, the organization works with local rescuers and veterinarians, focusing on lasting improvements rather than relying solely on relocating dogs to Germany. Its goals include long-term sterilization projects for stray and shelter animals, establishing an animal-welfare center with care and shelter, and providing appropriate food and veterinary treatment. The association also offers emergency assistance and arranges the adoption of dogs that have little chance of survival where they are.

Peace for Dogs invites supporters to help through monetary or in-kind donations, sponsorships, memberships, and long-term contributions. The association states that its work is carried out by volunteers and that it is recognized as a charitable organization, with eligible donations and membership contributions documented for tax purposes. It also aims to report its activities transparently and welcomes questions by phone or email.
