Peaceful Playful Present

Peaceful Playful & Present is a paediatric occupational therapy service founded by occupational therapist Bonnie Berry, supporting children and the people who care for them across the greater Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas. The practice focuses on self-regulation and sensory processing, with an approach centred on helping adults understand children’s needs and foster safety, connection and co-regulation. Its services include individual therapy for children, professional development for practitioners and parenting workshops.

The brand’s guiding perspective is that children benefit from attuned adults who respond with love and understanding and provide support through co-regulation. Peaceful Playful & Present also acknowledges the Awabakal People as the Traditional Custodians of the land, waters, plants, animals and people of Awaba (Lake Macquarie), and pays respect to Elders past, present and future. After many years working with children, families, schools and professionals, the service has announced that it will close on 22 September 2026.
