Peapod Learning Center is a Missouri state-licensed early childhood education and care provider in Springfield, Missouri. Its nature-based approach combines hands-on outdoor experiences with child-led discovery and structured learning, helping children build curiosity, confidence, independence, and social and emotional skills. The center serves infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in three classrooms: Seeds for infants, Sprouts for toddlers, and Saplings for preschool-age children.

Programs include responsive infant care, sensory play, music and movement, nature walks, gardening, storytelling, outdoor art, and cooperative activities. Children learn through exploration and meaningful play, with opportunities to connect with the natural world every day. Peapod uses the Project Construct play-based curriculum and Conscious Discipline to support learning, empathy, emotional intelligence, and respectful relationships. Teachers tailor care to each child’s development, while the center partners with families through regular communication, developmental updates, and daily infant reports about naps and meals. Peapod also provides resources for parents, enrollment information, and opportunities to schedule a tour.
