EnactEd is an education technology brand that helps preservice and early-career teachers build practical classroom management skills before and during their first teaching experiences. Its simulation-based professional learning uses virtual reality classrooms populated by AI-powered students, giving teachers a safe, controlled setting to rehearse authentic behaviour-management scenarios. Participants can practise responses repeatedly, receive immediate, actionable feedback, and develop confidence in applying strategies under pressure.

EnactEd’s “Hard Lessons” Behaviour-Management Skills Mastery Model comprises five modules that progress from establishing classroom presence and expectations to managing transitions, low-level disruption, attention-seeking behaviour and defiance. Training follows a gradual-release structure: guided practice, supported performance and independent execution. The scenarios cover techniques such as giving clear instructions, gaining attention, using descriptive praise, offering limited choices and applying trauma-informed de-escalation. Schools can also request custom scenarios to reinforce shared language and consistent practices. On completion, participants receive a report featuring a radar plot of their skill execution, the skills they applied and feedback on their performance.
