Pedal-Spital is a bicycle workshop in Haßloch, Germany, focused on keeping bikes running and helping riders get more life from them. Founded as a project in March 2023 and open to customers since April 2024, the workshop was created by Martin Niesler, whose interest in cycling dates back to his youth. Its services include bicycle inspections and routine maintenance, repairs, custom assembly, new builds and restorations.
Rather than treating a fault as a reason to discard a bike, Pedal-Spital aims to find a practical solution tailored to the customer and their bicycle. The workshop also offers specialist expertise and equipment for less conventional projects, including folding bikes. Its approach is personal and service-led, with individual solutions for each customer.
Pedal-Spital also shares news about folding-bike events, including the Kalmit-Klapprad-Cup and the EULENklapp BIS nuff folding-bike race. For cyclists seeking repairs, upkeep or a distinctive build, it provides full-service bicycle support and a point of contact for advice and enquiries
