Pediatrie Rožnov

Pediatrie Rožnov pod Radhoštěm is a paediatric practice serving children and young people in the Rožnov region. Led by doctors MUDr. Marián Šmoldas and MUDr.

Linda Šmoldasová, the clinic aims to work with families to support each child’s healthy development. Its services include comprehensive medical and preventive care, basic endocrine and kidney examinations, and screening ultrasound examinations. The practice also offers sample collection, vaccinations, pre-operative assessments, and health permits and certificates.

For newborns, it provides a non-invasive, preliminary jaundice assessment using transcutaneous bilirubin measurement. Vision screening is available with a Plusoptix device for older infants and young toddlers, with the practice noting that this screening is covered by health insurance. The clinic also participates in the Betty programme for type 1 diabetes screening, which it joined in April 2024, and offers ear piercing.
