PediPec is a Florida-licensed provider of Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC), offering non-residential medical care for children and young adults up to age 20 who need skilled nursing intervention. Its facilities in Miami-Dade and Broward counties provide care for up to 12 hours a day, as prescribed by a physician, either as an alternative to or alongside home nursing. PediPec’s services include nursing support, physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies, as well as door-to-door transportation covered by Florida Medicaid.

Children can take part in age-appropriate activities, including summer and after-school programs, while nurses and therapists coordinate to support their development. The centers serve children with a range of needs, including prematurity, neurological and respiratory conditions, feeding disorders, diabetes, and dependence on medical equipment. Family support and training are also part of the program.

PediPec has Spanish- and Creole-speaking teachers on staff and operates locations in Miami and Lauderhill
