About Peer2Peer Foundation 同學幫基金會
Peer2Peer is a brand that aims to bridge the education and opportunities gap among Hong Kong students through their mentorship and athletics programs. The brand was founded by Doug and Hank, who recognized the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students, particularly ethnic minorities and new immigrants. They initially provided free e-tutoring to secondary school students and later expanded their work to include mentorships and athletics.
Peer2Peer now boasts over 100 mentors worldwide and has worked with over 300 mentees. Their mentorship program allows students to connect with top secondary school peer-mentors for free, based on their academic needs and extracurricular interests. Additionally, Peer2Peer Athletics offers an in-person afterschool sports program facilitated by voluntary student mentors.
Each lesson plan promotes teamwork and resilience among the mentees. Through these endeavors, Peer2Peer is dedicated to providing educational guidance, academic support, and healthy exercise opportunities to students in Hong Kong
