PeeringDB

PeeringDB is a dynamic platform established to streamline the process of network peering and interconnectivity. Originally focused solely on peering data, PeeringDB has evolved to encompass a wide array of interconnection information, including data about networks, clouds, services, interconnection facilities, and more—all essential for fostering collaboration in the rapidly expanding internet landscape. The platform is maintained by a committed community of volunteers who prioritize the security, integrity, and privacy of the database, ensuring users access accurate and up-to-date information.

Network operators will find PeeringDB invaluable as it hosts interconnection data for nearly one-third of Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs), enabling efficient connections with other networks. Meanwhile, Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) and data centers can enhance their visibility by updating their information, making it easier for potential customers to discover their services. With its commitment to community governance and adherence to acceptable use policies, PeeringDB serves as a trusted resource for the global networking community.
