Peg Schulte

Peg-o-Leg’s Ramblings is a personal humor and commentary blog featuring essays by its author, Peg-o-Leg, on everyday life, aging, nature, social media, and politics. Written in a conversational, irreverent voice, the site mixes self-deprecating jokes and vivid anecdotes with observations about relationships, rural living, and contemporary culture. Posts range from encounters with wildlife to satirical takes on online arguments and political behavior.

The site also includes sections such as “Freshly Pegged” and “Peg-Co Catalog,” alongside reader comments and options to share or print posts. Peg-Co is presented humorously as a division of Peg-o-Leg Industries, with fictional products such as a tongue-in-cheek guide to shutting down political debate through insults, memes, and other low-effort retorts. This satirical framing is part of the blog’s entertainment and commentary rather than a serious commercial offering.

Overall, Peg-o-Leg’s Ramblings offers personal storytelling and social satire for readers who enjoy candid, playful writing about daily experiences and the absurdities of public life
