PEI BioAlliance

PEI BioAlliance is a private sector-led not-for-profit organization that plays a pivotal role in developing and coordinating the growth strategy of the Prince Edward Island Bioscience Cluster. With a collaborative model, the BioAlliance brings together businesses, academic and research institutions, as well as federal and provincial government agencies to establish the bioscience sector as a key pillar of the region's economy. Since its inception in 2005, the BioAlliance has fostered partnerships, aligned priorities and strategies, and allocated resources to drive the growth of the bio-economy.

This collaborative approach has earned the PEI Bioscience Cluster recognition as an important element of Canada's innovation ecosystem. Their vision is to become Canada's leading catalyst for private-sector-led bioscience-based economic development. To achieve this, their strategic priorities include attracting new businesses, creating jobs, increasing export revenue, and attracting private capital investments.

The BioAlliance coordinates the cluster of business, academic, research, and government organizations dedicated to increasing the economic impact of the bioscience sector in Prince Edward Island.
