PEKiP e.V. supports parents and babies during the first year of life through PEKiP, a program built around play, movement, and shared experience. Its parent-and-baby groups offer a welcoming setting where families can focus on their child, observe individual abilities and needs, and try activities suited to the baby’s stage of development. The sessions also give babies opportunities for early contact with peers and parents time to exchange experiences with one another and the group leader.
Guided by the belief that families are the future, PEKiP emphasizes trust, appreciation, bonding, and learning through movement. The organization helps parents develop confidence in their own instincts and encourages babies’ natural potential to unfold. Through its website, families can find courses by location, explore individual course options, and read the PEKiP magazine and other informational articles. PEKiP e.V. also offers training and continuing education for prospective group leaders, with details about course content, schedules, and registration. The association is based in Wuppertal, Germany.
