Pelealu Uitvaartzorg

Pelealu Uitvaartzorg is a Rotterdam-based funeral care provider offering warm, personal support to families and next of kin. Founded by Julia, the service places bereaved families at the centre of its approach, helping them arrange a loved one’s final journey with care and attention. The company provides clear quotations and aims to avoid unexpected costs, giving families greater clarity during a difficult time. It may also arrange international transport and offers a 24-hour emergency service, with availability every day of the week.

Julia’s approach is shaped by her Protestant family background and the values of independence and mutual care. Her experience arranging funerals for relatives strengthened her sense of connection to this work, which she describes as meaningful and honourable. She sees caring for someone’s final journey as a way to support people at a significant moment in life. Alongside her funeral work, Julia is a freelance business photographer, creating portraits and business content photography and covering corporate events.
