pelosetti di Torre Squillace

I Pelosetti di Torre Squillace is a volunteer organization based in Torre Squillace, in the Nardò area of Salento, Italy. Its work focuses on protecting stray cats and supporting their wellbeing, while also contributing to the conservation of the local environment. The association provides daily care for cats in difficulty, including food, attention, and medical treatment.

It also manages local cat colonies and organizes sterilization efforts to support responsible, sustainable care. When possible, the team helps cats find better lives through thoughtful adoption and transport arrangements. The organization shares stories about individual cats and its community work, helping raise awareness of the animals it supports.

People can contribute by becoming members, volunteering, donating, or supporting the association through Italy’s five-per-thousand tax donation program. Based at Via delle Malve 24 in Nardò, I Pelosetti di Torre Squillace welcomes community support for its ongoing animal welfare efforts. Its activities are centered on practical care, rescue, and helping stray cats move toward safer, more secure futures
