Guaporé is set to unveil the first Museum of Chimarrão in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, a landmark dedicated to the rich cultural tradition of mate. This innovative space will span almost 900 square meters and feature impressive installations, including a 14-meter chimarrão bombilla, recognized as the largest in the world, and an eight-meter cuia. Visitors will embark on a journey through the history of chimarrão, exploring its indigenous roots and contemporary significance.

The museum's collection will showcase rare artifacts and utensils related to mate culture from across Brazil and beyond. Additionally, it will offer interactive experiences, such as audiovisual projections that demonstrate the chimarrão preparation process, etiquette, and even the Mandments of Chimarrão. Guests will have the opportunity to virtually create their own chimarrão and keep digital mementos of their experience.

Located along ERS-129, the museum is expected to open by the end of the year, promising an engaging exploration of this beloved regional beverage
