PELUM Kenya, the country chapter of the Participatory Ecological Land Use Management (PELUM) Association, is a network of Civil Society Organizations and NGOs working with small-scale farmers in East, Central, and Southern Africa. With a membership of 57 Member Organizations, PELUM Kenya promotes agroecological principles and practices through various approaches such as advocacy, networking, capacity development, and information sharing. They focus on organic agriculture, sustainable agriculture, regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, permaculture, and more, while strictly avoiding the promotion of GMOs or synthetic agricultural inputs.

PELUM Kenya operates in multiple countries across Eastern, Central, and Southern Africa, working towards their mission of promoting agroecological principles and practices among member organizations, small-holder farmers, and pastoralist communities. They strive for empowered, prosperous, and healthy communities in Kenya, guided by their values of partnership, gender equity, transparency, accountability, and quality service delivery. Through their institutional strengthening, networking, and capacity development efforts, PELUM Kenya aims to enhance the capabilities of their member organizations and ultimately promote sustainable agriculture practices for a better future
