Pencer Brain Trust

The Pencer Brain Trust is a charitable fundraising organization established in support of The Gerry & Nancy Pencer Brain Tumor Centre at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. For 20 years, the Trust raised funds to help bring Gerry Pencer’s vision to life and support the development of a dedicated centre for people affected by brain tumors. The Pencer Centre is known for its multidisciplinary approach, providing care, treatment, support, and education for patients and their families, while also promoting brain tumor research in the hope of finding a cure for brain cancer.

The Trust has now transferred its independent fundraising operation to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Although this chapter of its fundraising work has ended, the Pencer family remains committed to supporting the centre and encourages the community to continue contributing through the Foundation. The organization’s website also shares Gerry Pencer’s legacy, profiles, past events, newsletters, and information about the centre. Through its fundraising and community engagement, The Pencer Brain Trust has helped advance compassionate brain tumor care and research.
