Penda Capital, founded in 2015, is a Non-Profit Organization/Social Impact Enterprise that offers comprehensive financial services to small businesses and entrepreneurs. With a focus on financial literacy, Penda Capital also provides training for women and youth who aspire to start and grow their businesses. Their goal is to promote equitable economic growth in all sectors and value chains.

The journey of Penda Capital has been marked by several phases, including registration by the Government of Uganda, baseline surveys on financial inclusion and clean energy, establishment of a board of advisors, and growth to a team of eight professionals.

Penda Capital's impact is evident through 87 financial literacy sessions, incubation of 100 youth entrepreneurs, and support to 347 households through entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Their driving force is to bridge the gender finance gap, empowering women entrepreneurs in emerging markets.
