About PenFed Foundation
The PenFed Foundation for Military Heroes is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to championing the military through investment, advocacy, and outreach. Its mission is to help Veterans access the tools and resources they need to make a successful transition from military service to civilian life. The Foundation supports this work through two core programs.
The Military Heroes Program partners with nonprofit organizations serving military communities, helping them strengthen support for service members and Veterans. The Veteran Entrepreneur Program provides Veteran and military spouse founders with free, equity-free access to mentorship, startup capital, and networks of investors and industry leaders. The Foundation also raises awareness and support through events including the Military Heroes Golf Classic and Celebration of Service Gala, and it shares information about its impact, financials, and giving options.
