Pen Green Centre

Pen Green is a children’s centre in Corby, Northamptonshire, dedicated to improving outcomes for children and supporting their families. Its vision is to inspire, challenge and innovate, and its ethos is to learn with, from and alongside one another. The centre provides early years education and childcare for children aged nine months to five years through Pen Green’s early years provision, nursery school and Kingswood Community Nursery. It also offers information about admissions, fees, funding, policies and support for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

For parents, carers and children, Pen Green provides groups and welcoming spaces to build connections, share experiences and find support. For early years practitioners, childminders and other professionals, it offers training, short courses, degree programmes, apprenticeships, teacher training, leadership development and research opportunities. Its East Midlands Early Years Stronger Practice Hub provides evidence-informed resources, advice, webinars and professional development. The centre also shares news, events and practical guidance, and provides bespoke school-to-school support across early years and other stages of education.
