Penguin Collectors Society
@penguincollectorssociety.org
The Penguin Collectors Society was founded in 1973 by a small band of enthusiasts meeting in Richmond, Surrey. When the first Newsletter was published in 1974, membership stood at 38; today there are over 500 members worldwide. The name Penguin Collectors Society was chosen over The Penguin Book Society at Penguin’s behest so that there was no implication that we were sponsored by the company.
