Pennine Canoe Club

Pennine Canoe Club is a canoeing club and charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) that invites people to learn to paddle and take part in paddling with the club. Its website presents two central pathways: learning to paddle and joining club activities, alongside information about becoming a member. The club also shares updates on its work and impact, including progress at its Battyeford site, and has announced the launch of a new website for Pennine Canoe Club CIO.

The organisation’s information covers governance, equality, diversity and inclusion, environmental sustainability, health and safety, and safeguarding. These sections provide information about the club’s structure, responsibilities and approach to creating a safe and inclusive environment. Visitors can also find contact information and follow the club on Facebook for further updates.

The website notes that it is currently under construction, so some information may still be developing. Overall, Pennine Canoe Club’s stated focus is helping people get started with paddling, enabling them to paddle with the club, and sharing information about membership, its activities and its wider organisational commitments.
