About Pensacola Winterfest
Pensacola Winterfest is a seasonal holiday attraction in downtown Pensacola, Florida, bringing families together for festive experiences from late November through Christmas Eve on select nights. Centered around Plaza Wonderland on Palafox Place, the celebration features falling snow, holiday lights, trolley rides, a mini-train, and themed entertainment. Its tours include the Peanuts Tour, Polar Express Tour, Grinch’s Merry Match, and Scrooge & Marley, which runs during Christmas week.
Visitors can also book family photos with Santa or arrange a photo visit with the Grinch. The Elf Parade kicks off the holiday season, with a Snoopy-themed celebration and activities for families and pets. In 2026, Winterfest also plans a live Christmas Special featuring Sam the Snowman and dancing reindeer.
Beyond its ticketed holiday events, the organization offers information about partner hotels and promotes local downtown attractions. On Saturdays, free trolley service connects the Palafox Saturday Market’s northern and southern locations, while a separate free evening parking circulator helps visitors reach destinations along Palafox on Fridays and Saturdays
