Pensão Amor is a bar and boutique accommodation in Lisbon’s Cais do Sodré, located on the city’s Pink Street in a former brothel. Opened in 2011, it helped bring new life to the neighborhood while celebrating its bohemian history and distinctive identity. Following a major restoration completed in 2022, the venue combines historic character with art, culture and nightlife.

The bar’s atmospheric salons welcome visitors for signature cocktails, dancing and an adventurous, welcoming social experience. Its events program includes live music, burlesque and pole performances, themed parties, poetry gatherings and theatre, with spaces that serve as both dance floors and stages.

On the upper floor, Madam’s Lodge offers 22 themed rooms and an immersive stay inspired by the building’s past. Personal objects, documents and messages introduce guests to stories of the former establishment and its residents during the 1960s. The hotel experience also pays tribute to the women whose lives shaped this history.
