Pension Tierreich

Pension Tierreich is a specialist animal-care facility in Gimbweiler, set in a rural location near Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. With an experienced team, it focuses on the care, wellbeing, rehabilitation and long-term health of companion animals. Its services include a pet pension, a senior residence for animals whose owners need a secure and caring arrangement for their later years, and a rehabilitation centre providing nursing care and support for medical needs during recovery.

The facility also houses a practice run by physiotherapists from animotion & Partner and an animal health service from Curanimalia. Pension Tierreich welcomes dogs and cats and aims to tailor accommodation and care to each animal’s needs and preferences. At the time of the website notice, the pension is temporarily unable to accept new dogs because it is at capacity; the senior residence and rehabilitation centre continue to operate as usual.

Visits and drop-offs or collections are available by appointment during opening hours, and the organisation is also a training provider for animal-care workers specializing in shelters and boarding facilities
