Welcome to Green Garden Farm in St. Albans, Maine! Our farm, situated on 27 acres (4 of which are under production), specializes in growing organic German Extra Hardy garlic. We take immense pride and joy in producing some of the highest quality garlic available, delivering organic goodness from our farm to your table.
With 75 pounds of seed stock, we started growing gourmet hard neck garlic and have since developed a robust seed bank through an annual process of planting, harvesting, cleaning, drying, curing, and replanting. Currently, we plant out 1300 lbs of seed garlic, which translates to approximately 45,000 plants. In addition to garlic, we also offer peony plants in nursery pots that are often ready to bloom the following spring, as well as colchicum bulbs that will bloom upon arrival for both farmers and home gardeners.
Our farm is 100% certified organic, and we prioritize eco-friendly farming practices that preserve the earth and produce nutritious food and quality seed. Come visit our farm in St. Albans or place your order online.
Note that garlic ships in September only, so be sure to order early as we sell out quickly
