About People's Policy Project
People's Policy Project (3P) is a think tank founded in 2017 with a clear mission: to develop an economic system that prioritizes the needs of the many rather than the few. What sets 3P apart from other think tanks is its unique funding model - it relies solely on support from small donors, who pledge $5 to $15 per month on platforms like Patreon and ActBlue. This allows 3P to publish policy insights that are untainted by the compromises often demanded by corporate interests.
In other words, 3P is truly the People's Policy Project, separate from the influence of powerful corporations or foundations. With a focus on socialist and social democratic economic ideas, 3P produces reports, short posts, and explanatory videos to promote their policy proposals. They also work with legislators and media outlets to provide data and analysis for other initiatives.
Matt Bruenig serves as the president of 3P and brings a wealth of experience in addressing inequality, poverty, and welfare systems. By remaining independent, 3P strives to fill the gaps left by other think tanks and provide fresh perspectives on shaping our economic future
