PEP 53 is a public-interest association and part of the PEP network, which promotes education, solidarity, and an inclusive society. Based in Laval, France, the association supports children, young people, adults, families, teachers, and people with disabilities through educational, leisure, social, and support services. Its activities include school discovery trips, holiday camps, group stays, family holidays, and sibling weekends, including stays designed for children in care.
PEP 53 also offers senior holidays through the ANCV programme and can help arrange stays at other PEP centres across France. Its residential centres include Les Mainiaux in Isère, Ker Avel in Finistère, and La Charnie in Mayenne. For children who are ill or injured, the association coordinates SAPADHE, a service that supports learning at home, in hospital, or at school.
PEP 53 also develops solidarity initiatives, including supported holidays and the inclusion of children with disabilities. Through these services, it works to advance access to education, health support, culture, leisure, and social participation
