About Perception4Perfection
"Perception4perfection" is a brand developed by the "Perception and Performance" lab at KU Leuven, in collaboration with UEFA, founded by Professor Werner Helsen. This online training tool aims to enhance perception and decision-making skills for (video) assistant referees in professional football. Through real match footage and in-game simulations, participants undergo challenging training sessions.
A study published in Psychology of Sport and Exercise showed a 23. 3% improvement in decision-making accuracy for Belgian assistant referees after completing the web-based training.
