Perdana Leadership Foundation is a distinguished non-profit organization established in January 2003, dedicated to the study of Malaysian leadership and nation-building. Originating from private sector initiatives and supported by generous benefactors, the Foundation aims to serve as a premier research and learning institution. Located in a stately building in Precinct 8, Putrajaya, which houses the Perdana Library, an auditorium, and a multi-purpose hall, the Foundation exemplifies its commitment to enriching Malaysia’s historical and leadership narratives.

Officially launched on May 10, 2005, by former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the Foundation focuses on highlighting the contributions of Malaysia's past Prime Ministers to social, economic, and political development. It serves as a central resource center for research on national stewardship, promoting awareness of Malaysia's development processes while fostering reflective debate and discussion among influential figures in Malaysian leadership.
