Perelesoq is an indie studio that presents Torn Away, an interactive story set during World War II, seen through the eyes of a small girl. Torn Away combines elements from adventure games, stealth side-scrollers, and first-person cinematic inserts. As the war rages across Europe, young Asya finds herself torn away from her home and destined to become an Ostarbeiter, a faceless laborer in a camp.

Asya must search for a ray of hope that will guide her on a journey across Germany and Poland, back to her homeland. Navigate through adversity, evade soldiers, find shelter, and secure food in this war-torn world ruled by terror and cruelty. Your strength and faith in humanity must not waver as you strive to survive and reach the end.

Torn Away features a unique combination of point-and-click and stealth mechanics, platform levels, and first-person cinematic inserts. It tells a poignant story inspired by the diaries of Soviet children and sheds light on the forgotten plight of Ostarbeiters. The visuals blend elements of socialist realism and contemporary French animation, while the soundtrack takes inspiration from Hayao Miyazaki's works, French New Wave cinema, and experimental electronics.
