Perfect Squiggle is a children’s playgroup and early learning service based at Bald Hills Uniting Church Hall in Bald Hills, Brisbane. Founded in December 2020 by educator Natashea, the program aims to give children a welcoming space to build confidence, emotional wellbeing and a sense of belonging through play, connection and child-led exploration. Natashea brings more than 17 years of early childhood education experience in Singapore and Brisbane.
Perfect Squiggle offers several programs for children from birth to around five years old. The Monday Stay and Play session welcomes children accompanied by their caregivers for play-based activities. Baby Squiggle runs on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays as a booked, educator-led drop-off program. Activities include sensory and nature play, movement challenges, storytelling, dramatic play, and open-ended arts and crafts. These experiences are designed to encourage creativity, language, coordination, social skills and self-regulation. The service also provides a supportive community where families can connect, while children explore in a nurturing environment.
